Are you prepared to lead a ship and crew into the final frontier?
Welcome to the USS Paula Greene, a Star Trek: A Call to Duty ship devoted to
training the future command staff. On this training ship, players can fill the
positions of XO, CO, and even SM, for 5 or 6 weeks, in order to get experience
in a command position. The Paula Greene crew will guide the candidates along
the way and give them feedback to become the ACTD leaders of tomorrow.
The ship was named after an ACTD player, Paula Greene, who passed away.
The vessel's original name was going to be the USS Aconcagua but was changed
(as a surprise) by then Game Manager (and Ship Manager of the Paula Greene)
James Young during the launch ceremony in honor of Paula Greene. The registry
number of the vessel, 71204, also represents the date of Paula's death - December 4th.
The ship served a "Staff only" vessel until October of 2002 when it was
transferred under the banner of the SMiT training program. Since then it
has subsequently become a training ground for COiTs and XOiTs.
Missions are played on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST (7 p.m. PAC).
Do you have what it takes to be a leader in Star Trek: A Call To Duty? If so,
heed the call!
